here is your homework for next Friday:
- Watch the trailer to the film Black Hawk Down (you’ll find a YouTube video further down in this post).
- Prepare for a discussion in class using what you found out about the UN in your last homework and in today’s lesson.Think about arguments for and against the premise that the trailer is an accurate depiction of peacekeeping operations by UN and US.

Wow, klasse Film zu diesem Thema!
Ich besitze den Film schon lange und bin von der Geschichte immer wieder neu geschockt…
Das Thema rund um die UN interessiert mich sehr und da morgen die Abiturprüfung in Englisch ansteht, kam ich durch Zufall auf diese Seite.
In unserem Unterricht haben wir den Film „Hotel Ruanda“ angeschaut, der auch ein sehr gutes Beispiel für das Versagen der UN während des Völkermords in Rwanda darstellt. Wäre vllt. auch ein Tip von mir, diesen Film mit in das Thema einzubeziehen.
